Countdown to the 2026 Summer Liver Academy Meeting
Welcome from the Program Chairs! We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Summer Liver Academy Meeting (formerly the biennial FASEB Liver Biology Conference) and now under the direction of the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP) is headed back to Cape Coral, FL. After a very successful meeting in 2024, SLAM 2026 aims to incorporate the best of our prior liver meetings, cutting-edge science, an interactive program format, and opportunities for trainees—all within a beautiful resort environment.
The program features an outstanding roster of internationally renowned speakers. See who will be presenting their cutting-edge research.
There will also be several career-development sessions, including Meet The Experts lunches and a panel discussion on career paths for the biomedical researchers. Trainees are encouraged to submit abstracts, which will be selected for either abstract-driven talks or poster presentations. Travel awards are available to offset to cost for trainees to attend the meeting.
The venue is on the west coast of Florida, at the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village. Features of the resort include an outdoor pool and hot tub, spa, fitness center, bicycle rental, boat rental, restaurants, shopping, and other amenities.
